Summary

Collaborated with creative, strategy, and production leadership team members to lead and oversee the end-to-end planning, design and implementation of Target's 2015 Holiday Odyssey campaign and interactive storybook experience. As Target's lead creative agency at the time, our team at 72andSunny was tasked with creating Target's annual holiday shopping campaign. Always trying to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience, Target challenged our team to both create a cohesive omnichannel marketing campaign AND design a first-of-a-kind mobile experience.

Together our team wrote, designed and developed a rich holiday narrative following the journey of three kids led by Target's Bullseye dog mascot to discover holiday joy. We then used this storyline as the basis for a connected marketing and campaign experience across digital and physical shopping experience for the holiday season.

To deliver joy beyond the shopping experience, we created an interactive storybook experience bringing to life the Holiday Odyssey journey in a rich multimedia mobile-first format that was designed to be co-read by kids and their parents.

For each family that participated in the storybook experience Target donated funds to the St. Jude's Hospital.

Outcomes

  • 19,000 hours of story time together
  • 119,000 families enjoyed our story
  • 8 minute avg. interaction time for users
