Summary

In 2014 our team at 72andSunny was invited by Google's Made w/ Code team (a social impact initiative working to engage girls with code) to lead a partnership project with the National Parks Foundation and the White House.

Our Challenge:
Create an innovative way for girls to interact with the National Holiday Tree lighting ceremony through code.

We were challenged to design a first-of-a-kind campaign, visual coding experience and interactive Holiday Tree lighting event that would give girls the ability to interact with the National Holiday Tree lighting ceremony through code.

  • 3 avg minutes time on site
  • 600,000+ trees coded
