Sharing and showcasing design work can take as long as (if not longer) doing the work itself. For each project a design completes there is additional several hours that will be needed to make the work portfolio ready.
To alleviate this pain point for myself, I created a programmatic workflow for automatically batch processing and generating design mockups.
Using Apple Script, Apple's Automator utility tool and Keynote, I created a custom app that could intake any number of image files, resize them, open a template Keynote design file, generate a new slide (mockup) for each new incoming image and then save out the new slides as web-ready image files.
